Thanks both! This was taken about halfway down the Mediterranean Steps, so I was recovering from a touch of vertigo at the time as well! :D

The partridges were much more common and confiding on that side of the Rock.
 
Lovely - I saw them on Windmill Hill Flats many years ago when the garrison was at full strength and the border was closed. They were scarce and very flightly. We were on the Rock for three weeks during the autumn migration and never saw them elsewhere.
