Lesser hedgehog tenrec, Nocturnal House, April 2019

Three tenrec, fast asleep when I visited. This is the side of the House where the sloth used to be and this bit next to the window has been separated off from the rest of the space.

@Gigit any work going on in the rest of the space? Or any hint of the kiwi going in there?

It doesn't look like it at the moment. I guess this area would be easy enough to dismantle if need be, but word seems to be that the kiwi isn't going in :(

I am still wondering whether the pygmy slow lorises will eventually go on show here. Their current exhibit is a dead loss.

We did comment to each other this morning that the loris would be a good idea if the kiwi isn't moving in. I have managed to spot a loris-type shape a few times while contorting myself, but nothing like the views you could get of them when they were awake in their old enclosure (or even when they were asleep!)
