This is a pretty cool looking big cat exhibit, as from a distance one would assume that these photos were of aviaries. In a way, it is a shame that the zoo doesn't utilize all of the available height via branches and climbing structures, as there is some wasted space here.
It looks pretty good from a distance, but it's too barren imo. No plants, little place for hiding from visitors. And indeed, could use better use of height.
Kinda felt this zoo just wasn't trying enough during my visit. Lot of living conditions could be improved quite easily, but that just doesn't seem to be a priority.
Reminds me of the jaguar and snow leopard enclosure in Köln Zoo, even though i think the exhibits in Köln are better for the animals for reasons @ralph named pretty good.
