I didn't know this place, but seeing this photograph of an impressive aviary, I just checked the website of the garden... what an incredible species list! Great diversity of birds, snakes and amphibians, as well as a couple of mammal species.
Yes...very nice indeed.....although most of the birds and primates/ sloths can be seen in the wild in Costa Rica with a bit of effort and patience. Obviously the cats and snakes are more difficult!! The scenery/ waterfalls are also stunning. We did this place and Zoo Aves, Zoo Simon Bolivar (photos to follow) right at the beginning of the trip...before switching to wild animal spotting.
