One of the European wolverine kits born on 18/02/2019, a first for the zoo.
On Friday evening the adults moved the kits from the rear of the enclosure to under a gorse bush at the end of the pathway between the wolverines and bears. This led to some really poor behaviour by photographers over the weekend who were hanging over the barrier above the kits and rattling off hundred of (probably mediocre) shots. On Sunday, some had even brought small steps to get a better view, which I highlighted to one of the volunteers.
I can think of at least one collection where the pathway would've been closed until they were moved to a better location.
