That barn is so dominant that any sense of an African landscape has been destroyed, although the zoo has obviously tossed aesthetics out the window. Maybe in a bleak Milwaukee winter, with snow piled high in all directions, the barn will blend into the white background. Haha!
In all seriousness, thanks very much for posting a lot of great photos of this new exhibit. I love it when a major zoo opens a new animal habitat and it seems that within hours there are loads of terrific photos up on ZooChat. It is much appreciated. I am most definitely not a fan of this addition in Milwaukee, but I love seeing the photos and the elephant area is far superior to what previously held pachyderms.
