When I visited Wingham, the kits were 9 weeks old and obviously attracted to the pool, but not quite well enough co-ordinated to swim properly or to avoid falling in! But they were getting too big for one of the adults to pull them out of the pool - so they had to be on lifeguard watch whenever the kits were out of the nestbox and then work as a team when the inevitable happened.
