So they are still there! I was starting to suspect they were no longer at the zoo.

This was actually the first time I saw any of these guys in at least two or three years. They are quite possibly the zoos most hidden animals (besides that mink that lives on the macaque island that I doubt was ever there to begin with).

I am actually somewhat surprised that at this particular zoo the prairie dogs are so hidden. Is this perhaps a result of the specific conditions at this zoo.

Because at most zoos that have them over here in Europe they seem to nearly always be visible as well as quite popular with the public.

@pachyderm pro I have a friend who says he saw the mink. However, I am 100% sure it is gone now.
