Oh good. (Visiting on Sat! ) I knew lions were off-exhibit, further confirmed by the obvious lack of the old wire mesh across the lion and tiger exhibits seen in the photo!

@Great Argus One interesting thing to note is I assumed the wall between the two exhibits would be coming down but it appears they're keeping it up and instead removing part of the path to connect the two. I suppose it saves money this way.

Interesting that they are expanding exhibits at the current zoo when they hope to shut it down and move to a new location.

@Arizona Docent Mind you the zoo also just built a brand new okapi exhibit. So clearly, although they plan on moving, they aren't shying away from improving the zoo where they currently are. My hope is in the near future they'll do the same thing for the snow leopards and expand their habitat into the old hyena exhibit.
