Armoured catfish and small cichlid ID - Zoo Antwerpen, 2019-06-26

Both fish were in a tank with Mbuna/Malawi cichlids. I'm fairly certain though the catfish is a member of the Loricariidae family of South American armoured catfish. It kind of resembles Hypostomus plecostomus but I'm not certain. I have no idea about the small cichlid though.
The cichlid is an immature or female Pseudotropheus auratus (formerly called Melanochromis auratus). I am no catfish expert, but I agree it is a Loricariid, perhaps one of the Pterygoplichthys species.

@gentle lemur Thank you.

As far as armoured catfish goes Zootierliste says Antwerp has Pterygoplichtys gibbiceps and Hypostomus plecostomus. Doing a bit of Googling on these species to be honest I am failing to come up with defining differences to tell them apart...

Let's just say I'm not very good with fish.

@KevinB Loricariids are complicated, it's really hard to tell many species apart! I think this is Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps looking at color, pattern, and fins.
