Found in a pond next to the path that leads from the African waterfront aviary and the Grévy's zebra paddock to the Kordofan giraffe, addax, impala and guineafowl savanna exhibit.
@Terry Thomas Gallinules aren't at all uncommon at Planckendael, they are commonly found in the ponds and moats (often with some degree of vegetation) all around the park. However, they usually nest among marsh vegetation, not on props like this.

I do agree that the fake crocodile prop is probably a bit unusual or weird.
