Asian Elephant Exhibit - weird cement structures

Kindof bizarre I will admit, but in a weird way I dont entirely dislike it. So much new rockwork in exhibits tries to look real but comes off as so fake, this is more of an interpretive approach and it kind-of works in my eyes. Taking inspiration from natural rock formations, whilst not trying to copy it.

Is it recycled from other buildings - I don't mean from the zoo, but more generally?.

I think it looks pretty interesting.....
