seasnake tank

several specimens of the endemic species [i]Laticauda saintgironsi[/i] are coiled in the branch at top right; in the water is a banded seasnake [i]Laticauda laticaudata[/i].

This is the one of only time I had seen seasnakes/kraits in captivity period. They probably replace them continually as they die, or best case scenario rotate in new individuals for a short period before release. Shame they havnt cracked the code to their care, marine reptiles are so fascinating!
 
@Chlidonias I was under the impression that they were nearly impossible to care for. Your comment spurred me to do further research and I came across some info posted on this forum (Sea snakes) to suggest otherwise in recent years however, which is a positive development I was unaware of. They still remain nearly nonexistent in western aquariums, from a quick search it looks like toronto, berlin, and long beach have had them in recent years, how long they lived I do not know.
