@DelacoursLangur Is that comment based on knowledge of the Wuppertal set-up, and management regime, or simply on the basis of this one photograph?

@sooty mangabey I have not been there in person, so I am only speaking to the exhibit not their management regime. To the contrary their continued breeding success is testament to that. However I do conduct research on elephant exhibits throughout the world, and know the dusty side stall in question. At ~.17 acres with no features whatsoever even for a bull enclosure it is unusually poor.
