Barton's echidna; London Zoo; early 1990s

(I've recently located a box of 35mm photograhic slides that I'd mislaid; this box contains a number of my photos from European zoo visits in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
I've had some of these pictures digitally scanned for uploading to ZooChat. More will follow in due course.)

I'm sad I didn't exist in the heyday of the zoo (actually I don't think anybody existed in the heyday of the zoo ), but glad that others are willing to share their experiences, so thank you so much

@amur leopard Lots of people existed in the heyday of the zoo. If people hadn't existed the zoo wouldn't exist.
