Is this otter exhibit actually an old enclosure that was not affected by the recent developments to the facility? I have a map of the zoo from 2007 and comparing it to my 2014 map it seems as if this otter exhibit and the vulture aviary (both next to the Great Rock) as well as a Lemur Island are all still standing from before the zoo closed for its two year modernization project. Were the otters, vultures and lemurs at the zoo the whole time that it was closed or are those exhibits also new? Did anything else survive from "the old days"?
