Went slightly beyond my normal acceptable travel time for a single bird, but this was a special one - beautiful and showy bird and a whole new order for my British list.
@Chlidonias Yes indeed! I hadn't quite clocked how little until I saw it. It tried to pick a fight with some crows at one point but had to withdraw sharpish!
