These cat cages are where the red panda complex is now. There were two sets of cages. At various times they held mountain lions, clouded leopard, leopard, jaguar, cheetah (before the cheetah, now kangaroo exhibit was built), and lions (while the lion exhibit was being renovated). They were torn down in the early 1990s to make way for the panda exhibit.
