My hope for a while has been for the zoo to expand out into the park behind the lion and elephant exhibit, that would provide plenty of room for a proper elephant yard to match the quality of the indoor facilities, along with a new Savannah area possibly!
@DelacoursLangur I think the zoo has tried in the past for such an extension in the park, but unsuccessful... The site of the temporary barn could however still be used.
