@snowleopard I think this angle makes it look smaller that it is. It's not big, but it's a decent size. This is still way better than their old exhibit in the Small Animal Building.
@snowleopard In terms of meeting AZA standards I would say this exhibit meets expectations. And this exhibit IS an upgrade from the species' former 1971 space in the Small Animal Building. In terms of habitat immersion, exhibit design, and conservation education - I don't think this exhibit is particularly on par with current meerkat exhibits.
