I'm definitely not an arachnid specialist, but compared to the usual housing of tarantulas it seems really poor. It looks pretty cramped and the animal has no possibility to hide at all.
To my knowledge this exhibit is basically a no-go. A lot of tarantulas to my knowledge hide in captivity behind like a piece of tree bark. Not a fan either of this.
Yeah this is abusive, going to die if left like that 100%. I would rather an arachnid be mistreated than a vertebrate species, nonetheless bad exhibit and inhumane lack of care...
