Cat Walk

September 22-23, 2019
An older section of the zoo. You approach (if coming from polar bears as here) up a ramp with a new (nice) jaguar exhibit on the right (behind me in this photo). At the top of the ramp you see red kangaroos on right (yard barely visible here - formerly held cheetahs). On left (just out of frame) is African lion. Then you descend to a row of cages all on the left side (similar to L.A. Zoo roundhouse exhibits). Current lineup (starting from here) is bobcat, binturong, meerkats, snow leopard (mom & cub), snow leopard (dad), ocelots, serval, puma (in two adjoining exhibits), juvenile snow leopard. Then the ramp goes up again to overlook an outdated grotto for Malayan tiger.
