General View of Gator Wrestling Stadium at Gatorland

This is the general view of the Gator Wrestling stadium at Gatorland on September 5, 2014. This is where the alligator wrestling shows take place. Unfortunately, I didn't give myself enough time at the park to view any of the shows!

Good grief.

My only question: do they wear tights and masks?

Although I have seen more crowded crocodillian exhibits this is quite full and small.

I personally like the added touch of the potted plants. I wonder what conservational message is attained by striding atop an indignant gator?

Yeah, it's a pretty grim enclosure, I will agree. I will admit though, that of all the alligator enclosures I saw during my Florida trip (and I saw many, as you'd imagine) this one was far from the worst one. I also believe when the alligators get too large for the enclosure here, they get moved into the much nicer alligator breeding marsh.

Awful enclosure , maybe animal rights groups should direct their attention and rage on this kind of crappy institution rather then on zoos which actually do strive to keep animals under decent conditions and manage to contribute something positive.
