Very unusual to see two different species fighting(or sparring?) like that. In all my years watching deer both in the wild and in parks I've never seen this.
@Pertinax I hadn't seen it before. I was sitting in the car between the two lakes, when the fallow deer brought his heard from the lower end and up the hill. The sika male spotted him and they then went at it for a good five minutes. It was quite a tussle too, not just showboating.
