Is this the largish tank near the first Platypus tank? I was there a couple of days ago and that tank now has Fat-tailed Dunnarts. I didn't see any Womas on display unfortunately.
@Chlidonias Yes it’s that tank near the first Platypus tank. Fat-tailed Dunnarts are an interesting addition.
Also, did you see the Whiptail Wallaby? I only saw one female on my last visit and was a bit worried they won’t be part of the collection for much longer.
@WhistlingKite24 - I saw one Whiptail Wallaby, and three Eastern Grey Kangaroos. There is construction work nearby so some of the outside animals have been temporarily transferred to another facility to avoid stress. The wombat had left on the day I visited, and the enclosure for Red-legged Pademelons (which I thought was part of the wombat enclosure until looking at your photos) was also empty.
@Chlidonias If it’s the construction area I think you are talking about (a series of reptile enclosures) then that area has remained in construction since my visit in June 2018. It’s good to see they are making some progress.
Walkabout Creek is a fraction of what it used to be. In 2010, they used to have tiger quoll, pademelon, gliders and a small bird aviary.
