Sarcophilus harrisii
My first decent photo of this species since the first time I saw one at Wilhelma, Stuttgart in 1973. In both cases the devil was loping along a habitual path, and I prefocused on a chosen spot. The only difference is that I took one shot in 1973 as I could not afford to use up more of my film. This time I blasted away and selected the shot above from a dozen poorer ones.
