A super tricky species as I remember it, suuuper low success rate for captive acclimation. When I used to do saltwater most people in the hobby shunned getting them at all, even for experiences keepers.
 
@DelacoursLangur Feeding mostly, they need a frequent supply of food to keep their weight up. This what makes many of the Pseudanthias difficult to keep. Same problem with Valencinnea gobies and Mandarinfish. With the rise of refugiums and live rock systems there is starting to be some success with these previously very difficult species.
 
@Great Argus Yet many species kept successfully need many feedings per day, most anthias do so people have auto feeders, and yet purple queens are considered to be in a league of their own. Mandarinfish and other copepod specialists just need big bioactive tanks or supplementation, as you say liverock and refugium's use has made them relatively easy at this point.
