Hi David - a strange place indeed. Some enclosure large, but also large numbers of animals in them. I've never seen so many different species mixed together in a 'savanna' exhibit. Also lots of feeding - encouraged as food being sold at entrance. Overall, it was an experience....but this place is also an amusement park so that element isn't great for the zoo enthusiast......I wouldn't rush back, but it's hardly a region (or country) that one goes to for the zoos. Italian zoos tend to picked up 'on the way' so to speak.
