Colobus Island (Half-Mile Lake) at Longleat, 03/11/19

That looks much better suited for a group of colobus, especially when compared to when it held gorillas!

@Brum They look really good on there, actually. And of course the colours mean they're easy to spot from the boat. A good choice.

Were the colobus monkeys added in 2019? Longleat seems to have added a number of species in recent years (colobus, koalas, potoroos, Cuban crocs, giant otters, etc.). Is it now a full-day experience for a zoo nerd? I would guess that the Safari is perhaps a two-hour trip, then the Jungle Cruise is 20 minutes, plus there is a decent walk-around section. With the lengthy list of non-animal attractions, families with young children would be at Longleat all day long!

@snowleopard It probably still doesn't need a full day, but it certainly benefits from it. I enjoyed 2019 Longleat a great deal more than 2008 Longleat. Not sure exactly when the colobus arrived, but fairly recently (since the death of the very old silverback gorilla Nico).
