Canadian beaver in action

The Last Frontier, Pairi Daiza, 23rd October 2019
Castor canadensis.
I liked the clamps which can hold branches upright, so that visitors can watch a beaver at work.

I have seen several different beaver exhibits, but in each one all I saw a pond and no animals. What is Pairi Daiza's secret to letting the beavers be seen by visitors?

I love that idea for the clamps as well. It has great educational value to the guests and great enrichment value to the animals. You know that is my kind of enrichment, giving them the ability to demonstrate their literal natural behaviors, as opposed to using what looks like toys you might see lying around their exhibit.
