This colony of Monk Parakeets (aka Quaker Parakeets) has been nesting at Pasir Ris since at least 2017, and there are other sites around Singapore where the species is also reported nesting. I didn't even know they were in the wild here, so when I saw the flock at the top of a tree (before I saw the nest) it was a bit of a surprise!
