I wish these were a phase in species instead of a phase out

last i read they were a "maintain until francois' langur become available species" - and we all know that ain't happening anytime soon.

and adelaide seem to be happy to keep breeding them anyway. have they still only bred from one of the females?
 
Yeah, only the one. I heard froma keeper that they were going to be getting another female this year, but I don't think that will be happening this year, hopefully next year.

That is wonderful news, I guess they want to pair off the young male and have another breeding pair :cool:
 
wonder how they are going in the heat wave, and great to here bout the new female hope every thing goes well.
 
Howletts have 5M & 8F listed on ISIS maybe they could get a female from them?
 
At the Bronx Zoo the spectacled langurs were sleeping until one of them woke up. At that moment all the others woke up a second after the first langur did.!:p
