Two-spotted goby

Aquarium, Chester, 15th December 2019
Gobiusculus flavescens.
A small group of these little native fishes is on-show in the last tank in the Aquarium. They are unlabelled, so I took some photos to identify them. They are very attractive and very active too, and the tank is well aerated and has quite a strong current - which makes photography difficult, so I apologise for the imperfections of this image. The strange reflective eyes are quite normal in gobies and related fishes.
