I still dont get why they didnt just bulldoze that hideous monstrosity. I dont take the destruction of historic zoological architecture lightly, and am usually an advocate of modernizing and re-purposing old exhibits, ageing adds natural character. But in this case its just an eye sore that should be forgotten IMO.
@Hipporex Yeah your probably right unfortunately, sure its fine from a welfare perspective, but an exhibit this bad being prominent is damaging to the zoo as a whole, a good investment to flatten it IMO.
