This bird managed to fly out of her aviary.
During my visit, a keeper was trying to lure this female Scarlet Honeyeater closer to his food bowl. He was trying to trap her in the food bowl to then quickly return her to the aviary, however the bird was too quick and remained cautious. She stayed around the aviaries near her mate (who was safely inside the aviary). The bird was still there on my second round of the aviaries.
The keeper told me that the bird had been out for three days, I hope they caught her.
