How are the Brown boobies (Sula leucogaster plotus) doing at Sea World Gold Coast? How many are there and are they breeding? and how long have they kept this species there?
@WhistlingKite24 ah ok thank you for letting me know. So would you think this species (healthy individuals) would be capable of surviving and breeding in captivity? If so, what sorts of accomodations would be necessary?
@UngulateNerd92 I’m not sure but I doubt Sea World Gold Coast has any plans on breeding them. They only hold rescued birds.
This bird lives with two Pied Cormorants and a large group of Australian Pelicans in an open-topped enclosure.
