If (as your review states) this will have exhibits for Sumatran tiger, Javan leopard, clouded leopard, and golden cat, this is one exhibit I would love to see. If they keep the margays currently on the outside of the building (even if they move them elsewhere), so much the better.
I also notice the banner says opening 2019, but I think your review says 2020. How often have we all seen exhibit opening dates pushed back? I know in my years on this site it seems to be the rule rather than the exception.
If you had been with me for my two days at the big Berlin zoos then you might have been disappointed, because both zoos currently have their huge Carnivore Houses closed at the exact same time. The Tierpark had a sign up saying that the 2019 opening might still occur for the Malayan Sun Bears, but it seems that mid-2020 will be a tentative opening for the entire Rainforest House.
I am always looking at options for my next trip to Europe (which happens on average every other year). My latest idea is to combine a trip to Berlin with Prague (the latter for architecture, not zoo) in winter/spring 2021. We will see what transpires (partly depends on whether or not an exciting personal goal involving London comes to fruition - will know in a few months).
