Roloway Monkey (Cercopithecus roloway) at Tierpark Hellabrunn - April 9th 2

Rather more unusual in captivity than the closely related Diana Monkey, I was very pleased to observe a group of this species on display at Tierpark Hellabrunn.

Annoyingly some portrait shots have uploaded correctly whilst others have not..... however, clicking on the image causes it to display correctly.

Left the collection in 2016 I believe.

If it's any consolation the collection does now have Moustached Guenon which is a lot less common in captivity than is Roloway.

I have already seen them in Beauval
At least I will see them in Doue when I visit in the near future for the second time. On my first visit I wasn't able to see them.

Duisburg is another option of course.... and you'd presumably want to get there anyhow.

True - however I have found myself struggling to assemble a trip to Cologne and then Duisburg, especially since there isn't much other than the two zoos and the world-famous cathedral to see

You mean other than Dortmund, Krefeld, Wuppertal, Aachen, Gelsenkirchen, Dusseldorf and Munster?
