So they're still on exhibit then, just moved exhibits?

How about the other species that were living back there, Tongan Scrubfowl, Blue Coua, etc?

@Great Argus they were on exhibit in one of the small aviaries that make up Wings of Australasia, I don’t know about the scrubfowl but I did see blue coua close to where Tiger Trail area starts, more uphill I believe.

So, both San Diego and the Bronx Zoo currently have the only maleos in the U.S, right?

I don’t know if they are the only ones to have maleos but these guys are pretty up close early morning when the zoo opens, often overlooked unfortunately

@Matthew Guimac Tulsa has them, and also Columbus.

@Great Argus Columbus does not have them. Houston, on the other hand, had them as recently as 2019.

@Great Argus Probably saw it in this thread where it was listed initially (Megapodes, Guans, and Currasows in North American Zoos) but it was later confirmed as a misunderstanding.

@Coelacanth18 That is indeed the one, I saw Houston no longer had them, the jury seemed still out on Columbus but I may have missed something.

@Great Argus I've seen no references to Columbus having maleo besides the error in that thread.
