Kinda reminds of this photo by @Feminamsaurus - same individual, with the same shadow from a twig cast over its snout in basically the same place! Is there a chance you were both there at the same time?
Seems to also be in the same place in the enclosure as well if you look at the two 'vines' behind and to the right of the head! Also have the same two branches in front! Does this particular individual basically stay in the same place the whole day?
@amur leopard no worries! Yes @Great Argus is my husband and we are members at the Sacramento Zoo! The lions are NEVER awake or looking around so those photos feel like a special gift!
So yes they might be a touch similar because lions....they don't do much lol!
