@Andrew Swales the new photo in the gallery shows an example of the fencing. It appears that the precautionary wiring at the top may have come loose in the storm.

Thanks TNT - have to say, given their reputation, it is surprising to see standard chain-link and couple of electric strands as a fence. Maybe they are not as destructive/dangerous as we were led to believe; interesting....
@Andrew Swales There is also a row of electric wire at head height for the Takin surrounding the whole exhibit. In addition to this, there is a a sharp embankment that rises up to the visitor path, which again has a stand off barrier.
