@Jambo Fonzee died at Tipperary. Solucky and Tippi were exported to Taman Safari, which was a great loss to the region. All the zoos had bulls at that time though. Tippi sired a calf to Solucky when he was three years old, but it died in infancy.
@Zoofan15 That’s unfortunate. Both Tippi and Solucky would’ve been great use to the region. Apparently only SeaWorld was interested in buying them, and they only ended up buying the female Cuddles.
@Jambo I assume Cuddles took preference over Solucky due to her younger age - 2002 versus 1987, but Solucky was genetically valuable and had many reproductive years ahead of her.
Not that Dreamworld would have cared, but Tippi was quite inbred - his parents were half siblings, each sired by the same bull that sired their mothers.
