Edit: Seems like, they are the only ones in USA .

@twilighter I believe they are, I've never seen them mentioned elsewhere. I think it's also the only Eupleridae species other than the Fossa to be in a USA zoo (I'd love to be wrong on that!)

Wasn't it Fanaloka in The Capital of Texas zoo ?

@twilighter There should still be a Fanaloka in Texas, yeah. Otherwise, these are the only Euplerids in the US other than Fossa.

Oh no! I don't have any plans to go to this zoo but It's on my bucket list. I sure hope these are still alive when a roll around!

@MonkeyBat I'm not sure how long vontsiras typically live for tbh, but I know these two have been at the zoo since 2008 and came from Berlin before that.

@ThylacineAlive little late to the party here but ring-tailed vontsiras (from a quick search on google) seem to have been recorded living up to 13.2 years in captivity. So who knows, we might have some time left, but that depends on how old they were when coming from Berlin. So either I make it to Bronx soon (which I obviously should, just don't know when) or hopefully run into them on my Eurodash in the coming years...

Though, did they come from Zoo Berlin or Tierpark Berlin?
