He must be 6ft tall! I saw a show about Whipsnade Zoo back in 2014 or 2015 and in it the keepers were going into his stall while he was lying down to check on his foot pads. Maybe they still do it, but with the attack by his son Ajang on a keeper a few years back perhaps now they only do protected contact with him now.
