The 3 metre viewing is quite impressive for a zoo... don't know any other zoos with this kind of large scale viewing other than cetacean pools or River safari. Does anyone know of any pools this deep in zoos?
Nuremberg, Odense and Chimelong Ocean Kingdom all have similar depth pools, but I'm not sure any of them have a window of exactly this size.
Burgers' and Randers' pools are definitely shallower.
And thankfully Berlin Tierpark's pool is no longer in use.
Just looked up the Tierpark's one and it didn't look great to say the least...
I assume River safari has some massive viewing windows? The Mekong River tank looks pretty deep, but I may be wrong.
I precise that this window is not the biggest of the manatee pool at Beauval. I have not a good photo but the biggest is three times longuer than this one. It's more than 20 meters long !
