birdsandbats 7 Apr 2020 Certainly a Sylvilagus species. There are two in Washington, S. nuttallii (Nuttall's Cottontail) and S. floridanus (Eastern Cottontail). This genus in notoriously difficult but I would guess Eastern for this individual.
