Jokulsarlon, Iceland, June 2011

Reactions: Terry Thomas
Jokulsarlon is a glacial lagoon in south east Iceland filled with meltwater and icebergs from part of Europe's largest glacier, Vatnajokull. The black ash on top of the icebergs was from a recent eruption. What more could you want - glaciers and volcanos! One of the most stunning sights in Iceland for those restricted to the main roads in a hired motor home.
