The species found across both tanks were roughly divided into native and exotic (sometimes individual fish were moved into different tanks).

Freshwater Crocodile (Crocodylus johnsoni)
Broad-shelled River Turtle (Chelodina expansa)
Macquarie Turtle (Emydura macquarii)
Saw-shelled Turtle (Myuchelys latisternum)
Barramundi (Lates calcarifer)
Mangrove Jack (Lutjanus argentimaculatus)
Fork-tailed Catfish (Neoarius graeffei)

Alligator Gar (Atractosteus spatula)
Pirapatinga (Piaractus brachypomus)
Red-tailed Catfish (Phractocephalus hemioliopterus)
Giant Pangasius (Pangasius sanitwongsei)
Giant Gourami (Osphronemus goramy)
Cigar Shark (Leptobarbus rubripinna)
Red Devil (Amphilophus labiatus)
Siamese Algae Eater (Crossocheilus oblongus)

The aquarium recently got rid of all these species and replaced them with Little Penguins.
