Very cool seeing the two species together, must be one of the last zoochat members to see colognes douc.

@TeaLovingDave Oh, I thought it had died recently my bad. Perhaps it should be sent to Chleby to be reunited with its own kind, although I imagine it is quite old at this point so moving it might not be in its best interests.

Is it dead now? I'm glad Beauval is getting some because I don't think I would ever get to see them if they hadn't - not sure I'd be able to justify a trip to Chleby just to see them . I guess it makes them more accessible to Zoochatters, and with the castles along the Loire river nearby, it is relatively easy to justify a trip.

Sadly, it has indeed died since this discussion originally took place.

From what I can tell it is actually easier for the average Zoochatter to get to Chleby by public transport, actually

Yes, I have tried Beauval by public transport once it was not fun

The other pertinent point is that they are actually *at* Chleby whereas it is in the lap of the gods whether Beauval ever actually do

Oh yes, they have been having a lot of difficulty getting them through customs and I reckon they'll be there essentially until this crisis is over.
