Eastern bongo in the old bongo-enclosure in Givskud Zoo. The bongos lived in a drive-through enclosure called the forest-savannah, the third you come to, together with springboks. The springboks left the zoo a couple of years ago and the bongos had been alone in the enclosure since then. This year they have been moved to a new enclosure and are observed by walking. The new enclosure lays in a forest area and suits the bongos requirements much better. The old enclosure was too open and the bongos were afraid of the visitors' cars. This made them standing in one corner most of the time. The plan is to have ostrich and common eland in this enclosure.
